本會正為不同團體的義工隊或工作小組提供一節免費環保培訓，歡迎以下團隊預約：機構內環保小組、有機會在大型活動中擔任工作的義工隊、有機會協助籌辦大型活動的工作小組成員 或 任何對綠惜活動感興趣的義工小組。

預約方法：填寫網上表格，建議參加人數為10-40人。參加者由申請機構自行召募。

「綠惜活動義工培訓」基本內容包括：
1. 講解欠缺環保措施的大型活動所帶來的影響
2. 綠惜活動(Green Event)的理念及減廢知識
3. 舉辦或支援綠惜活動的實踐方法及貼士
4. 分享過去支援各項活動面對的困難及解難方法

參與培訓後，我們期望參加者能運用所學到的環保知識去協助籌辦及支援 貴機構舉辦的大型活動，亦可考慮參與更多工作坊及體驗活動，加入成為綠惜地球的「綠惜活動大使」，繼續支援綠惜地球與其他機構合辦的Green Event工作。

賽馬會「綠惜活動減廢同行」計劃 (Jockey Club Events Go Green Programme)」由綠惜地球主辦、香港賽馬會慈善信託基金捐助，目的是鼓勵活動主辦單位摒棄過去舉辦大型活動時固有的模式，引領活動參加者及義工迎接Green Event減廢措施這個潮流。自2016年起，「綠惜地球」曾支援主辦單位推行超過100場有Green Event元素的大型活動，包括推行源頭減廢、資源回收等，均得到參加者的正面回應及支持。

The Green Earth will provide FREE “Green Event Volunteer Workshop” to volunteer groups. The following volunteer groups are welcome to apply: environmental teams in the organization, volunteer teams who have the opportunities to help in large-scale events, or team members of a large-scale event working team.

Apply for a workshop: Please fill out the application form. The recommended number of participants is 10-40 participants per workshop. Participants will be recruited by the applicant.

Green Event Volunteer Workshop will include:  

1. The impact of large-scale events without environmental protection measures
2. The Concept of “Green Event” and knowledge of waste reduction
3. Practical skills and tips in organizing or supporting a “Green Event”
4. Experience sharing：difficulties and challenges faced in promoting green measures and possible solutions

After joining the workshop, volunteers can apply the skills they have learnt in your organization’s large-scale events. They are also welcome to join us as Green Event Ambassadors. With more workshops and tours, the ambassadors will be well-trained to support Green Events organized by other organizations with the support of The Green Earth.

Jockey Club “Events Go Green” Programme is organized by The Green Earth and funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust. The programme aims to encourage event organizers, volunteers and participants to hold and join large-scale events in an eco-friendly way. In the past four years, The Green Earth supported more than 100 large-scale events to adopt “Green Event” measures, like reducing waste at source and recycling to minimize waste generation in events. We also encourage participants to support eco-friendly measures by providing reliable recycling channels and educational support. The measures were effective and received positive feedback from participants.
